23 Week Update!

So week 23 went by even faster! I feel like everything is flying by now and I am not getting to experience this pregnancy! :( I have been very busy with school, it is keeping my days and nights occupied and the little free time that I do have, Mark and I try and spend it together, even if it is just cuddling on the couch watching a movie. It seems like I had been taking all that for granted before and now I can't wait until I get that little break to go snuggle with him and the belly! The kiddo is moving like crazy and I felt him more this week than I ever had before. You can now officially see my belly moving over my clothes! I also can't believe that we will be 24 weeks along tomorrow! WOW, I am so excited because it will be our V-Day! (Viability Day) which means that baby boy now has a greater chance of surviving outside the belly if something where to happen. Of course we plan on going all the way :) but it just eases my mind that the chances of survival are a little greater now!

We had our 23 week checkup and everything looks great! The baby's heart beat was at 156! I am getting referred to a therapist for my back because I have been having issues with it again, but after my last experience with a chiropractor I said I was never going back so I am hoping that therapy might do the trick this time! I have also gained about a total of 8-10 lbs! I think you can tell too since I think my belly doubled in size this week! There is definitely no doubt that I am pregnant anymore! I even got my first question from one of my kiddo's at school! He asked if I was going to have a baby soon! :) I will be telling them by the end of this week so I am excited about that too.

As far as pregnancy symptoms go, I am officially having morning sickness again! Not too happy with that. It is not daily which is good, however I thought that being this far along everything would start becoming a breeze! My heartburn was also really bad this week (it doesn't help that I went on a pizza kick for 3 days) And for some reason my feet have become very sweaty! It is pretty gross and I don't like it. I feel so uncomfortable in my shoes, they always feel wet! My hands have been a little swollen, I have a hard time getting my wedding ring on but other than that all is GREAT!

Mark and I went up to California this weekend to visit his family. We finally got to meet our little niece Paige! I even got the privilege of changing her diaper! It was good practice though and thankfully there was nothing there ;) I also got to feed her and burp her which made me get emotional. I just can't believe that we will be doing that in about 4 months! My mother in law also got me some maternity clothes! I was so excited, I got some dresses and some skirts! My mom had already gotten me a few pants so I was thrilled when I was able to add some feminine clothing to my "very limited wardrobe".

I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked this weekend, there was too many people around and I was so tired all I wanted to do was sleep, but here are a few anyway.
