21 Week Belly Picture
This was a pretty calm week for baby and I. He is continuing to kick nonstop now, I feel him all day and throughout the night! I think our child does not like to sleep at all. I have also determined that he does not like being bothered, he doesn't like my jeans rubbing against my belly, or me sitting anything on top of it like a glass of water! He immediately starts kicking! Mark is also able to feel him now. I think we have a new favorite part of the day, we love cuddling in bed every morning and feeling our baby boy do somersault's in there, they are getting stronger too. I am now able to put the remote on my belly and he is able to move it when he kicks!
We did make an unexpected trip to the doctors this past week, however it was not for baby boy or I, Daddy (Mark) actually got sick. He had a fever of 103.4 and would not stop shivering! I was so scared because after two days it was not coming down, it only continued to climb up, at one point it even got as high as 104.5! I ended up taking him into an urgent care and they gave him some antibiotics. It took a couple of days for it to start kicking it but he seems to be doing better now, however I had the pleasure of driving him around last week for work since he had so much going on and couldn't stay home. I don't think I have ever driven as much as I did on Thursday and Friday of last week. I have a new found respect for my husband, I did not realize how stressful his days can be.
My parents and sisters were up visiting through Wednesday. Grandma and Grandpa Taddey helped us paint the nursery! Mark helped out for a little bit and I just mostly watched :) I love the color and I think they did a fantastic job with the mural. My mom and sisters also had the opportunity to feel baby boy kicking too! :) They were very excited!
