Ok, so I have been MIA for a while, but I have been so busy. I had uploaded the pictures before New Years and had not had time to come on and post. Just a quick blog though, we spent Christmas Eve in Arizona with my family, opened gifts at Midnight and then flew up to California Christmas morning to spend the rest of the weekend with Mark's family. Mr. Eli was not feeling well the entire weekend so we spend the majority of Christmas Eve trying to comfort him. He finally went down at around 11:30 pm but kept waking up every half hour. He seemed to be doing better up in California, he had his little moments of fussiness but overall he was good. He saw family and opened more gifts up there. When we came back I got busy unpacking, putting everything away and then repacking for New Years down at my parents. I took Eli to his helmet specialist, and then took him in to his Pedi because he went almost a full 24 hours of non stop crying. He had no fever or any signs of a cold, however the Pedi confirmed that he is teething. His gums felt a little swollen but that was pretty much it, that it could take a few months for them to pop. For New Years we were down in Rio Rico with my parents. We didn't do much, we spent the night playing poker with my parents, sisters, their BF's and my best friend, her husband, and their son. It was perfect. My parents off course take over Eli Duty... aside from nursing, Mark and I don't get to do much while my parents are around. We came back Sunday morning and took Eli to his first Cardinal's game. We were surprised that he sat through almost the entire game, he fell asleep for about 20 minutes but the rest of the time he was looking at everything and everyone. He kept staring down the guys behind us because they were wearing "Cheese Hats" (they were rooting for Greenbay) so Eli kept giving them these weird faces like "What the heck do you have on your head dude". But he was great the entire game. After the game, my aunt invited us over for dinner (an excuse to see Eli) of course. We came home and pretty much crashed. This week Mark has been going in to work around 5 am and coming home late. They have a big install they are doing and the owners are being pretty difficult so he has been spending all day at the job site and then going into the office to catch up on everything else. So because Mark is gone so much Eli has decided he is going to be difficult again which has been hard on me. He has been very fussy and tries to shove everything within reach into his mouth. He was even biting on my shoulder yesterday. He has been crying more than he is quiet. The only thing that quiets him down is nursing but he doesn't even nurse, he just uses it as a pacifier. I have been busy taking him to his doctors appts. unpacking, washing, and putting all the Christmas decor away. I still have a few errands I have to run. Thursday evening and Friday are pretty much gone since I had previous plans so that leaves the rest of the day and tomorrow morning to do everything I want to finish before the weekend. Since again we will be busy, I want to spend the day with Mark and Eli on Saturday, since we really haven't seen each other, and then we have church on Sunday (That we have not been too in about a month) :( and after church we have a party. I am hoping after this weekend things will return to a somewhat normal schedule for me and I can have a little more free time.
Opening his first Christams Gift, we had to do this early
First gift up in California
Helping daddy with his... "Ohh dad, just what we wanted"
Mom, I think I need some boy cousins
Random pic before all 3 of us took a nap
More gifts he was more interested in the paper this year than the gifts. (He got to celebrate X-mas) 5 different times, 3 down here and 2 up in California so I have a ton of pictures of him opening gifts... Ohh and he still has his gifts from Mommy and Daddy that he has yet to open. I think we are going to do that today when Mark gets home though for January 6th! Traditionaly in Mexico that is when gifts are suppose to be opened, since it's when the 3 Wise Men took baby Jesus gifts. So I will hopefully get back to posting next week, the little free time I get I use wisely right now and honestly the computer has been the last thing on my mind. Next week though, I will play catch up,
A few more
