37 Week Update

37 Week Belly Picture

Ok, so week 37 was most likely our last "Big" milestone before baby boy gets here. We reached full term which means baby should not need any assistance if he should arrive now! :) Yay. It was an overall weird week. I was very uncomfortable for about half the week, yet probably the most comfortable I have been throughout the pregnancy the rest of the week. I have been going in little spurts where I have no energy at all and then all of a sudden I have so much energy and feel great. Yesterday and today I feel like crap and I have no energy so I will keep this post nice and short. Mark and I spent the weekend cleaning closets and rearranging stuff, it was a very productive weekend. He was so wonderful, since I have lost my appetite, I don't feel like being in the kitchen. He took care of ALL the cooking this weekend. I had a little fever on Sunday and felt pretty bad and he made me some chicken noodles for lunch and made steak and potato's for dinner along with a beef and veggie stew in the crock pot for Monday! Can you believe that!!!! What a wonderful husband. All of the aches and pains (back & hips) come and go, however between yesterday and today they have nearly been unbearable. I went to bed crying last night, because my upper back would hurt when I breath, I took some Tylenol this morning ::crossing fingers:: that it will work.

We had our 38 week appointment yesterday and there is no news since last week. Everything is exactly the same. She did say that my belly is measuring smaller than average but that does not mean anything when it comes to the size of the baby! :( Darn... Mark keeps scaring me saying we will have a 9 lbs kid! His heartbeat was 157 bpm, I passed my strep B test and my blood pressure and everything is great. I did complain about my swollen elephant feet but it's obviously normal and apparently they aren't swollen enough to cause concern so I just need to deal with the uncomfortableness.

That is it for now, check back later on tonight or tomorrow for hopefully a little more "Upbeat" post. (I seriously have no energy right now) But I took some pictures of the baby's closet, dresser, toy's and the big "hospital" pile by our door that I will post along with a 38 week survey!
