Hello Everyone... Well I never posted our 38 week update because as you can see, I never got to it. I am going to let this blog be short, vague and to the point since I am still at the hospital. Anyway we went for our regular weekly checkup on Monday morning everything seeemed good and normal there but I did mentioned to my doctor that baby's movements had been decreasing, she sent me to the ER to get monitored just to be safe... Well who would have known that I would end up not leaving there that day!! Apparently when I got there my blood preasure was too high and they grew concerend about it. They checked my urine and found protein in it which was a red flag for my doctor to keep me there for concerns regarding preclampsia!! I totally freaked out since I hadn't had any issues with anything throughout the pregnancy, well to make a long story short, they ended up having to try and induce the labor because my placenta had apparently been separating itself from the uterus hence why out little guy hadn't been moving so much. This started posing danger to me and the baby. They broke my water it was literaly all blood so they had to do an emergency C-Section to get him out of there. We are both still in the hospital, Eli Warner is doing great! I however am still getting monitored, my hemoglobin count is pretty low they are hoping it will go back up today otherwise I may need a blood transfusion :(
Our families came into town and they have all been great, Mark hasn't left my side or Eli's side, he has been so wonderful changing EVERY single diaper since I can't get up. He swaddles him, burps him, he is pretty much doing everything I can't do! He is great with the Eli and has been woderful and very supportive with me. Eli and I are working out the breastfeeding, we still have some work to do. Anyway, I promise once I am feeling better and we are home I will post more regarding "The Day"... I will post more details and a birth story later along with more pictures, but I know many of you are asking already so here I am introducing our Handsome little man....
