One Month!

I am One Month Today!

Eli is one month today! I can't believe it! Time is flying and he is growing so much. I don't have any stats to post for him as his one month appointment is on Monday, but I am positive he weighs at least 8 lbs already! He eats like a champ! His colic seems to be better, although there are still days where he will scream out of no where. It breaks my heart that I can't do anything for him, I don't like his cry when he cringes his little legs. He is already starting to show us a bit of his personality, he is one moody and stubborn little guy! He took after his daddy with the stubbornness but I am not sure where the moodiness comes from ;) He is sleeping through the night, we have established a little routine for him, we give him about an ounce to an ounce and half around 7:00 pm, then we bathe him around 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm, I give him a little lotion massage after his shower, this is when I usually stretch his little legs and arms. I then get him dressed and swaddled for bed. I nurse him until he falls asleep which is usually for about ten minutes. Mark then takes him and makes sure that he burps and he lays him on him while I pump all the extra milk he didn't eat (otherwise my boobies are huge in the morning). Then after I am done pumping we put him in his bassinet and he is down for the night! :) Depending on the day and how hungry he is he can wake up at 3:30 am to eat, or go all the way till 5:30 am! So I think we are doing pretty good! He has already outgrown all of his newborn clothes, socks, hats, I cried the day I realized I could no longer shove his little feet in one of the sleepers! We are not on to 0-3 months which still seem to big but I know he will be filling them out in no time! We are so in love with our little guy! I know I don't blog much, but I promise I will start getting better. I will update on Monday after his appointment to see where he is at and to post pictures from this weekend. My parents are up (That is why I can blog! They are ogling over him right now) they came to spend some time with the baby and to give Mark and I a break as this Sunday will be our One year Wedding Anniversary! So I will make sure and post pictures of Eli with the Grandparents and we will be taking a trip for him to visit GREAT, GREAT Grandma tomorrow! Ohh and on the days that he cooperates with me, I have some fun with him and take pictures here at the house! Here are a few!
