Updates!

So first of all, I want to start off by saying Happy Anniversary to Mark! Yesterday was our 1 year anniversary! It is so hard to believe how fast time has gone by. It really seems like just yesterday that he was down on one knee asking me to spend the rest of my life with him. I just want him to know that I am so incredibly blessed to have him as my husband and best friend. I consider myself lucky to have been able to spend one year with him already, and if this first year is any indication of what the rest of our lives is going to be like, I can't possibly ask for anything more. I have it all with him by my side!

Secondly, I want to wish my mom and my dad a happy anniversary as well. They will have been married for 25 years tomorrow! They were up visiting this past weekend and we took them out for a surprise dinner with the family! They were not expecting it at all! Happy 25 years mom and dad, can't wait to see the next 25!

Lastly, this weekend was also very important for me. I had the opportunity of having my son, my mother, my grandmother and my great grandmother all at the same place. It was truly so special to have 5 generations together, I know this is hard to come by and feel incredibly lucky that I got to witness it firsthand and that Eli had the opportunity to meet his GREAT, GREAT Grandmother!

Here is little Eli with his Great, Great Grandmother!!!! She was in love with him! The first thing she did as soon as she was able to hold him was give him a kiss and her blessing!

Ok, now on to updates! Eli had his one month check up today, he is doing great! He weighed in at 8 lbs 4 oz and 22 inches long! He is in the 11th percentile for his weight, but 65th percentile for his height! I was concerned about how much he was eating but the doctor said that because he is sleeping through the night his body is trying to catch up during the day, and as long as he is not spitting it back out to go ahead and let him eat/nurse as much as he needs. He also got his Hep B shot today. He cried for a bit but then was ok, however he became pretty fussy for about 4 hours between 4pm and 8pm. I gave him his bath and nursed him and he is now down for the night! :) (Which is how I am able to blog!) With other news, he giggled for the first time last night! I nearly cried with emotion. He is rolling over onto his back consistently now when we put him on his belly. As soon as I figure out how to load the video I will try and post it. He has also recently found his thumb! Loves putting it in his mouth! He loves being out and about, if he starts getting fussy, I take him for a walk and he immediately calms down! He loves sitting out in our backyard in the mornings and is starting to like his swing a lot more. He is now staying in it for more than 5 minutes at a time! (yay for me, I can now do a little more). Overall everything is going GREAT, he is sleeping through the night, eating well, growing fast and has my entire family wrapped around his little finger! Mark and I do not see him when they are around! We have to fight to get him back! Here are a few pictures of this weekend.
