14 Week Update

Ok, so I really don't have too many updates as far as pregnancy goes, however I starting to feel the morning sickness a lot more during this 2nd trimester than what I ever did during my 1st trimester. My heartburn is also driving me nuts because I can no loger take my meds for it and I had finaly found the ones that worked for me. (Hepapix... not sure if that is spelled right!) It just seems like I am a lot more uncomfortable throughout the day because of my heartburn. Mark did get me Tums but I don't like the taste! I take them at night and they are ok for the first couple of minutes and then it comes back! As of this morning, I still haven't gained any weight, maybe next week will be the week.

My parents did come up this past weekend and they helped out sooooo much! My dad helped Mark move all the furniture & bedroom sets upstairs. We cleared out what is going to be the baby's room and we ended up putting my bedroom furniture into our master bedroom instead of Mark's old furniture. (Even though Mark won't admit to it, the room looks so much better! Very girly... hehehe).

The adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.
