So Mark and I had the follow up appointment yesterday. Everything is finally starting to look a little better! We were able to hear the heartbeat again, however, this has been the first time that I haven't been a nervous wreck, all the previous times it has taken the nurses a while to find it, and it wasn't always very clear. I remember leaving worried last week considering it was not very clear and was considerably lower (130's) than what the normal rate had been (160's-170's) however yesterday's appointment went great! The nurse was able to find it really quick! As soon as she placed the Doppler on my belly we were able to hear that amazing sound! A VERY STRONG 162 bpm! She said it was PERFECT! Ohh... and I finally gained some weight (a whole 2 lbs) which they said was good! Although my belly feels a lot bigger right now, and I know it is no longer bloat! There is still some concern regarding my urine, and I need to cut down on the juice. We also got to schedule our "BIG ULTRASOUND"... (Drum roll please) God willing and if the baby cooperates, we will be finding out if we will have a baby boy, or baby girl on March 5th (4:30 pm) so make sure to look for updates after that!
