30 Week Appt. and Ultrasound Pics

So we had our 30 Week appointment this morning and everything went great! Mark came along of course (he hasn't wanted to miss any appointments) We got an ultrasound done and our little buckaroo already weighs 3 pounds 10 ounces! His heart beat was 152 bpm which is normal for him, and he is in the 70th percentile in growth! He is measuring a few days ahead, at this point the EDD (estimated due date) is July 23rd! I am still going with July 28th though, that way if he decides to come early GREAT, if not, I won't be too anxious (Although I feel anxious either way)! The tech also gave us over 30 pictures today! I was so surprised, we also got them on CD and a little video on the DVD as well. He was being his father's son and not cooperating with us, I really wanted to see his little face but he had his hand all over it at first, the tech poked him around a little and he finally moved his hand out of the way long enough to get a few pictures then his entire arm took over! :) Ohh and apparently we have one hairy little man! The tech said that he already has a head full of hair! :) I feel like such a horrible mother because out of all the pictures we got I can only make out the 3D ones, I can't make out any of the rest! She showed me where the hair was but I can't see it :( Guess I will just have to wait until he arrives and let him surprise me!

I am doing good too, not too uncomfortable just at night with my heartburn. The doctor told me I could move on to Prilosec for the heartburn to see if that helps any. My belly is starting to hurt when I try and roll over in bed now but nothing too painful. My back actually feels great right now which I am very happy about and I didn't gain any weight since my last appointment. I was a little concerned about this because all of my pregnancy books say I should be gaining about a pound a week now, but my doctor said not to worry about it that every pregnancy is different. The baby is growing fine, there is plenty of amniotic fluid for him, that there is nothing for me to worry about. So I will take that as a blessing. After the appointment, I headed over to the hospital to pre-register. I got all that done and also booked out tour for June 4th! I am really excited and looking forward to it!

He finally moved his arm and we saw his face but he was moving so fast the tech couldn't get a good picture of him

Then he rolled over and we were able to get the side of his face and his knee almost touching his mouth!
