18 Weeks = We LOVE our baby!!!

Some exciting news this week... Mark and I were able to feel the baby kicking outside of the belly!!!! Crazy huh?? Especially with me only being 18 weeks. We didn't get to feel E kick from the outside until we were like 22 weeks or so. It's amazing to see how strong our little one is growing already! Definitely taking after older brother in the kicking department and I am absolutely loving it! We were actually in bed kinda watching TV but talking more than actual watching, I had my hand on my belly and totally felt it! I FREAKED!!! I just could not believe it at all! I told Mark and he could not believe it I said look, grabbed his hand and placed it on my belly... after about two minutes he finally said "Hobbles, I think maybe it was just you, I can't feel anything", but regardless he keped his hand there and about a minute later we just both kinda looked at each other and sure enough... KICKS!!!!! We were ecstatic!!! We still can't get over how fast this baby is growing, it seems like just yesterday we were peeing on a stick! Anyway, still nothing to report, no weight gain!! Woot woot, nice since I have been eating tons of cheese, but to make up for it, I cut back on the ice cream that I normally treat myself too! :) I did get heartburn on day this week, but not too bad, well at least not as bad as I would get it with E. My belly does seem to be growing a little extra hair but nothing like it did with Eli, I swear that with Eli, it was starting to look like a jungle and needed some major landscaping done to it! ;) Luckily Mark convinced me not to touch it and it pretty much went away after E's birth. I am hoping this one isn't as hairy but in all honestly if it turns out to be, I'm ok with it since I know it will go away. Next week is our BIG week! We go in for our Ultrasound to find out the gender! We are super excited... Mark really wants to bet on it again, I am positive it's another boy, while he is positive it's a girl... With E it was the other way around, so we made a bet if he was correct, he got to name the baby, if I was correct I would get to name the baby... Well long story short E ended up with his name because of his daddy! This time around though I am not wanting to place any bets! I already have a boy name I LOVE and my girl name I have had picked out FOREVER!!! Probably since like high school! So I really don't want to place any bets in case I do lose... Hehehe, but we will see, it is kinda fun and it makes the anticipation even greater and a little more interesting! :)
