31 Week Update & Baby Shower # 2

31 Week Belly Picture

Wow... week 31 is over, we are officially 7 months with only 8 more weeks to go until we hit the 40 week mark, AND only 5 weeks until the little guy is considered "Full Term" meaning his little lungs would be fully developed and the chances of him needing any addition help to breathe would be pretty slim... I can't begin to describe how that makes me feel. This entire pregnancy has gone by so fast and I just can't believe it is nearing an end so fast! Although I had some minor complications in the beginning, I am so thankful that overall it has been an easy pregnancy. I am almost 32 weeks (tomorrow) and I feel GREAT! (Hopefully I am not jinxing it) I have had my days here and there, but I can still walk without waddling, I can still jog a bit, and best of all, I am still able to sleep without too much pain (aside from the heartburn). The little guy is doing great as well, he is continuing to kick away and I actually think he grew more this week because my belly feels slightly bigger :) and I feel a little more pressure. I have decided to include a little survey just for fun this week.

How far along are you? 31 weeks and 6 days! Can't wait to start week 32 tomorrow!
Total weight gain or loss? : Umm, as of last week still 14 lbs. I was away this weekend and haven't weighed myself, will definitely do it tomorrow morning since I feel bigger!
Are you wearing Maternity clothes? Yes, I have been for a while, I still wear some of my regular shirts but I need to wear them with undershirts since most of them go halfway up my belly!
Do you have Stretch marks yet? Yes 3 :( although I am thankful they are pretty small and that I have not gotten any more.
How are you sleeping? Aside from the heartburn and an occasional night where I can't get comfortable I am either too hot, or too cold, then hot again, I can't complain. :)
Best moment this week? I had several, I had my 2nd shower and it was nice to see family, I got to spend time with my nieces something we hardly ever get to do, I got away from the Phoenix heat, and finally just being able to come home to my husband!
Do you feel movement? Yes, I feel him ALL THE TIME! :) Not complaining. He has begun to kick or punch really hard now though, he literally made me freeze right in my tracks this week from a really hard hit! But I prefer that 100 times over no movement of course!
What are your strongest food cravings? I would still need to say that it's fruit! I can't seem to get enough of it! In fact as soon as I am finished with writing this blog, I have some frozen peaches waiting for me! :)
What is the baby's gender? He is still all BOY :)
Have you had any labor signs? Thankfully no other than braxton hicks contractions.
Is your belly button in or out? The left side is popped out, yet the right side is still taking it's time! It looks really funny!
What are you looking forward to this week? Starting week 32 of course, going to our hospital tour on Thursday (will update then) and going camping with my family and husband this coming Friday!
Any weekly wisdom? Yes, please do not take advantage of the small things in life such as shaving or even wiping yourself after you potty! :) I know TMI (To Much Information) but it's true, these are things that I did not even think twice of doing before and now I have to "devise a plan" on how to get things taken care of :)

Ok... Weekend review, I went up to California for my 2nd shower. Mark couldn't go since he had to work however he was a wonderful husband and dropped me off at the airport and was there waiting for me today when I got in! I left Friday and came back today (Monday). I spent Saturday with my Sister in law, brother in law and nieces. We went to the Oakland Zoo and ohh boy was it a workout! I had never been there before and didn't realize that most of the paths are uphill! I was ok in the beginning but I will admit that I took a nap as soon as I was able too! The weather was nice, it was in the 70s, something we haven't had in Phoenix in a while so I enjoyed my time being outside. On Sunday, my sister in law hosted the shower at their house. One of Mark's aunts also helped her out. The shower turned out beautiful! It was of course a "Jungle Theme" :) and everything was so cute! The baby got a lot of little outfits, bottles, pacifiers, books, toys, a jumperoo, bouncers, boppy pillow/cover, shoes, receiving blankets, wash clothes, hooded towel, gift cards, some wall art, burp clothes, blanket, crib sheets, changing pad cover, car seat protector Ohh and I also got a year's subscription to "Parents" :) I am sure I am probably forgetting things but that's what I can remember off the top of my hear. Mark and I are extremely blessed with everyone's generosity! We have very little that we will need to get.

Little Miss Payton anxiously waiting to get into the Zoo!

It must be hard being a 3 year old! :)

Paige slepped the entire time! 10 minutes before we left I was able to get a picture of her awake.

Here is the gift from my Sister in Law for the baby! (Although I think Mark is enjoying it more right now) She started his John Deere collection. She made him a couple of onesies, a flannel blanket, and some burp clothes! She also got him his first books about Trucks and a cute little tractor!
